This is a go to and easy recommendation. The rooms are decent size, everything is in good working order, and clean. Comfortable beds. The part that separates this from other hotels is the owners are onsite, two brothers and family that have made this a nice place and are easy to communicate with. I have confidence that if there was an issue, I get reasonable help that is effective, unlike most basic managed hotels. And the prices are very good! Contact the hotel directly to make bookings.
My husband and I just stayed three nights here, it was adorable, quite, and clean! Every staff member we talked to was so nice. If you’re staying for a while or just a night I definitely recommend. At night there are these darling Edison light bulbs with a fountain, really sets the mood for hanging out in the back.

Affordable, cute, and near food and convenience stores. The water tasted a little weird but that is probably a city problem rather than the hotel. Would recommend bringing petty cash to use the vending machines or buy something to drink from Safeway.
We came here from Pennsylvania to see the redwoods and wanted a place to stay after a long day of travel. This spot was better than we expected. Extremely clean, modern and a cute old western theme. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. The area is safe and quiet. The rooms were dark and the beds comfortable; we slept well and woke up feeling refreshed and ready to go. I would recommend this Inn to anyone who is traveling in the area.
I'm a local and have driven by The Old West in many times without noticing it's charm - truly a hidden gem. The rooms are nicely decorated with an old west theme and are quite comfortable in atmosphere and furnishing (bed and pillows are comfy, lighting options for most preferences) and it's affordable. The Old West Inn is much nicer than price suggests - far better than other similarly priced rooms in this area.
Owner was so kind and helpful went the extra mile to save us a bit of cash and also has done a wonderful job at putting together a whole map for things to do in the surrounding areas. LET ME ALSO SAY WE HAVENT EVEN STAYED YET. We can't wait to head up and check out the hotel and surrounding areas. Kind Friendly Helpful ...Will update after stay..
This place is so cute! The owner at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and even spacious for a motel. The courtyard is an added bonus and the modern old west touch is unique. I would definitely recommend it. Prices are very reasonable too.
